A note to our users

infection A2Z was a key project developed by Healthcare A2Z in conjunction with professional associations, content specialists and practitioners from October 2004 to October 2006. Since this time a number of key national guidelines and documents have emerged within the field of infection prevention and control. Much of the content contained within this series may still be of practical use, however, it does not encompass publications post October 2006. We have made the decision to keep this series on-line as it is still well visited. Each content page clearly states when the page was last reviewed and updated with guidance.
